Matched to a CRO that has run your study before.

Describe the study once. We put it to the CROs that have run it, put the confidentiality agreement in front of them for you, and keep the invoicing in one place.

What you do not have to do

The hard part of placing a study is not the list.

Anyone can hand you names. What costs a sponsor a month is proving a CRO has done the work, getting a confidentiality agreement signed, and putting a new supplier through finance. The marketplace does those three.

  • Finding them

Matched on studies they have run

You describe the study. We put it to the CROs that run that species, that model and those endpoints, and tell you why we asked each one. When a CRO replies, you can read what it has delivered before you take it further.

  • Signing them

The confidentiality agreement is already written

One agreement, the same for every CRO on the portal. No redline round with each CRO, and no waiting on two legal teams before anyone is allowed to talk about the study.

  • Paying them

The invoicing runs through the portal

Your finance team sets one supplier up instead of a new one for every study. The study, the deliverables and what is owed sit against the same record.

The problem

Placing a study is four weeks of work before any science starts.

A sponsor with a new study asks a colleague, or goes back to whoever ran the last one. The CROs it has never heard of never get the call, and the sponsor never finds out that one of them has run that exact model thirty times.

Say it finds a promising one anyway. Now two legal teams redline a confidentiality agreement, which takes anywhere from a fortnight to three months, and finance opens a new supplier. Both happen again for the next CRO, and again for the one after that.

The marketplace does that part once. A CRO writes down what it runs and signs the standard agreement when it joins. A sponsor describes a study and can be talking to the right CRO the same week.

For sponsors

See who has run it, not who says they can.

Every CRO writes down what it runs: the species, the models, the endpoints, the capacity and the site. The portal also counts the studies each CRO has delivered on it. You read both when a CRO replies, so you can tell a track record from a sales page.

  • We put your study to the CROs that run it, and say why we asked each one
  • Matched on species, model, endpoint, timing and location
  • A count of the studies each CRO has delivered on the portal
  • You read the replies and name the CROs you want to go further with

Your study stays private. A CRO reads the full brief only after you make it a finalist and it signs your confidentiality agreement.

For CROs

Get found for the work you have already done.

A profile is free and takes about ten minutes. We put a study to the CROs that have run that kind of work, and your profile is how we know you have. Every study you deliver on the portal adds to that record.

  • A profile page the sponsors who ask you can read
  • Your delivered studies count toward your record
  • The record never names the sponsor you worked for
  • Turn a request down without a phone call

You do not negotiate a confidentiality agreement for every enquiry, and you do not chase a new purchase order through a stranger's finance team.

How it works

Three steps, and nobody is asked to guess.

  1. 01

    Describe the study

Species, model, endpoints and timing. What you write stays private to you until you ask somebody to read it.

  2. 02

    Read the replies

We put the study to the CROs that run it. Each one sends a short reply or says no, and you name the ones you want to go further with.

  3. 03

    Sign once, then start

A finalist signs the standard confidentiality agreement and reads the full brief. From there the study runs in the portal and the invoicing runs with it.

Where it stands

What is live today.

A sponsor can describe a study, publish it, and read the replies in the portal today. We pick the CROs to put it to ourselves, by hand, while we sign up the first CROs. The standard confidentiality agreement is with our lawyers. That is what the opening date waits on.

Invoicing through the portal is next. Until it lands, a sponsor and a CRO still bill each other directly, and everything else on this page works as it says.

If you run a CRO, set up your organisation now and write your profile. That is what we read when we decide who to put a study to.
